Kiss Off at The Teenage Cancer Trust event

Following the announcement that Noel Gallagher is curating the Teenage Cancer Trust shows at the Royal Albert Hall concerts for 2013, Kiss Off had the amazing chance to attend one of these on Sunday 24th March!  This year’s annual series of shows sees Ryan Adams, Kasabian, Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Rizzle Kicks and Labrinth take to the stage to raise money along with a night of comedy featuring two of the UK’s biggest comedians Russell Brand and Noel Fielding.  Kiss Off were there for the Labrinth and Rizzle Kicks event, which also featured new talent Mahalia (who is only 13 years old!), and was hosted by Caroline Flack.

It was a great event and we had the pleasure of going backstage after and meeting all the people who helped put this special night together.  Especially one lady called Charlotte in particular who told us her heart felt story of battling cancer, and who is now in remission, woop!!

You can donate by texting lease text TEEN to 70300 to donate £3 to Teenage Cancer Trust.
They will receive 100% of every donation. You will be charged £3 plus your standard network message rate.

Ne-Yo gig sponsored by Mastercard

Sooooo KISS OFF were at the private Ne-Yo gig last night at the wicked Under The Bridge venue located under Chelsea’s football ground !  This was the start of Mastercard’s series of Priceless Gigs and we were honoured to be invited and loved mingling with the likes of Alexandra Burke, JLS and of course Ne-Yo and his band!

Performing live, Ne-Yo’s vocals were on point as his belted out hit after hit AND his band were beyond awesome.  He worked the crowd, with his sultry moves, singing intimately to the many screaming girls in the audience.

THEN bombshell of the night occurred after he brought on new artist Sonna Rele to perform one song acoustically.  Following a speech he made about how he spotted Justin Bieber age 11 but didn’t snap him up, he there and then offered Sonna a record deal on his Compound Entertainment label !!  The crowd went wild and of course she said YES.  Supporting Ne-Yo was fab artist Josh Osho.  We’ll be seeing Ne-Yo and crowd again at the o2 on the 15th March! ; )
